영등포 타임스퀘어 데이트 코스 — 무료 미디어아트 전시 〈Living Geometry 2026〉
영등포역에서 걸어서 3분. 타임스퀘어 지하 2층 영등포아트스퀘어에서 KAIST XD Lab의 미디어아트 특별전 〈Living Geometry 2026 · 생동 기하학〉을 무료로 볼 수 있다. 영상, 인터랙티브 설치, 웹 작품까지 7점을 한 동선으로 이어 보며 쇼핑이나 식사 전후에 60–90분 정도 머물기 좋다.
왜 데이트 코스로 좋은가
전시장은 영등포역(1호선·KTX)과 가깝고, 타임스퀘어 안에서 바로 이어진다. 비가 오거나 날씨가 덥고 추운 날에도 동선이 편하다. 무료 관람이고 예약도 필요하지 않아 약속 시간 앞뒤로 부담 없이 들를 수 있다.
두 사람이 함께 체험하기 좋은 작업도 많다. 황인태의 〈Vessel〉은 맥박 센서를 통해 개인의 리듬을 서울의 이동 데이터와 겹쳐 보여주고, 〈Goldilocks〉는 기온·바람·비 등 7가지 요소를 조절해 각자의 날씨를 만들어 보게 한다. 서민혁의 〈City'scape + Tied〉는 실제 문을 여는 행위를 통해 도시 안에서 잠시 다른 풍경을 마주하게 한다.
관람 뒤에는 같은 건물 안 식당가, 카페, CGV, 5층 하늘정원으로 자연스럽게 이어진다. 전시를 따로 목적지로 삼아도 좋고, 영등포 타임스퀘어 일정 사이에 짧은 문화 코스로 넣어도 좋다.

Date Night Guide — Yeongdeungpo Times Square Free Media-Art Exhibition (Living Geometry 2026)
Three minutes on foot from Yeongdeungpo Station, and on the B2 level of Times Square Mall, KAIST XD Lab's media-art special exhibition Living Geometry 2026 runs free at YDP Artsquare. Seven single-channel video, interactive installation, and web works pack into a 60–90 minute visit — easy to fold into a date that already includes shopping, dining, or a film at the same building.
Why it works as a date course
The exhibition is a three-minute walk from Yeongdeungpo Station (Line 1 / KTX), and Times Square is connected to the station underground — you can arrive without stepping outside, even on a rainy day. Admission is free and no reservation is required, so you can drop in around the rest of your plan.
Of the seven works on view, several interactive installations are designed for two people to experience side by side. Intae Hwang's Vessel uses a pulse sensor to bring two heartbeats into resonance with Seoul's mobility data; his Goldilocks lets you adjust seven meteorological parameters and place 'your weather' alongside Seoul's live readings. Minhyeok Seo's City'scape + Tied turns a single physical door into a small private threshold the two of you cross together.
After the show, the rest of Times Square — restaurants, cafés, the multiplex, the 5F rooftop garden — sits one elevator ride away. You can do exhibition → dinner → film → walk without leaving the building.

1) Yeongdeungpo Station Exit 4 → Times Square underground link (3 min, no outdoor exposure).
2) B2 level — YDP Artsquare. Living Geometry 2026, 60–90 min (enter via Gate 14, next to the Dokdo Experience Center).
3) Times Square food court or 1F atrium café for a break.
4) CGV Yeongdeungpo or the 5F rooftop garden to close the day.
