강이연(Yiyun Kang)은 KAIST 산업디자인학과 교수이자 경험디자인연구실(XD Lab)의 디렉터로, 예술과 기술이 교차하는 지점에서 작업한다. 인류가 직면한 기후 변화와 인공지능 위기를 감각적인 경험의 언어로 표현하고, 이분법적 사고에 지속적인 의문을 제시하며 현대 사회의 명암을 그려낸다. Google, NASA, Max Mara, BTS 등 세계적 기관과 협력하고, TED 2026 등에서 강연, Victoria and Albert Museum, COP28 등 세계 유수 기관에서 개인전을 열었다.

Yiyun Kang is an artist at the KAIST Experience Design Lab (XD Lab).

Yiyun Kang is Professor at KAIST Industrial Design and Director of the Experience Design Lab (XD Lab), working at the intersection of art and technology. She translates the climate and AI crises confronting humanity into the language of sensory experience, continually questioning binary thinking to render the light and shadow of contemporary society. She has collaborated with leading institutions and partners such as Google, NASA, Max Mara, and BTS; given talks at venues including TED 2026; and held solo exhibitions at the Victoria and Albert Museum, COP28, among other major institutions worldwide.
